Afshan and Afshan Jadid are like Chanel No.5 and Chanel No.19 for me. Being aware that the perception and impressions of fragrances are purely subjective, I cannot resist the initial scream - Jadid is beautiful and intoxicating. It envelops in a cloud of beautiful chypre composition, where the introduction is dominated by sweet citrus dusted with vanilla. Wet wood is added after the rain, the whole forest of spruce and pine trees, whose trunks run down bitter resin mixed with rain soaked bark. It enters the wind and brings the smell of grass and greenery from afar. Citrus slowly retreats and the herb-wood chord begins to dominate. At this stage, it remotely resembles Balmain Vent Vert, but in Arab. Eventually, the scent begins to warm due to warm sandalwood. It creates an incredibly long lasting enjoyment.
